Our Story
Shepherd Response was established in 2020 with a simple but powerful commitment: to help communities rebuild stronger after disaster. Our founding team, with deep roots in both military service and construction management, recognized a gap in the industry: the need for reliable, responsive contractors who could not only perform high-quality work but also navigate the complexities of FEMA- and HUD-funded programs.
Since then, we’ve completed over 600 reconstruction and mitigation projects across three states. Our work spans everything from individual home elevations in hurricane-prone coastal towns to large-scale reconstruction programs supporting state and local governments
